Kjeldorans Order [KO] was started in 2008 as a Kurzick guild that lead the Kjeldorans Order Alliance.  In the Guild Wars (1) days, KO was mainly a PvE based guild that dabbled in PvP and GvG.  We hada full guild hall on Burning Isle.  Our guild structure was uniquely set up to help keep officers from getting burned out. 

Our PvE department, headed by Dark Infultrater, supported by several PvE officers was in charge of running any PvE events, helping members through missions and teaching them how to survive in GW on their own.

Our PvP department was headed by Most Dangerous Hunt and was in charge of organizing AB teams, JQ and Fort Aspenwood missions as well as any PvP events. 

Our Guild Relations department, headed by Wistera Garinwood took charge of Membership, Recruiting, Events, dealing with any issues between members, etc.

KO was run democratically - officers have a say in guild decisions and major decisions are often put to an all-guild vote. 

In the past, KO has hosted major PvP tournaments including the Slayed Sins Tournament (June 2008), Mendeleev's Elementalist Tournament (July 2008), All-Out GVG Tournament (June 2009), and several others.  Weekly events were held for our members & allies.  These include games, PvP tourneys, Mission/quest runs, etc.

The family-like atmosphere in KO keeps us strong - we are a close knit guild with lots of interpersonal communication.  We are also a very active guild - currently at least 1/2 of our members  play on a daily basis and no one has been inactive for more than 3 weeks.

Our philosophy is two-fold.  First and foremost Guild Wars is a game - have fun!  Secondly, we pride ourselves on teaching our members to fish, in other words, showing them how to survive on their own ingame so they don't have to depend on others to get through missions, make money, upgrade equipment, etc.
